Africa4rafiki welcomes all photographers to the 1st Rafiki Light festival of Photography in Fort Portal,
sept 01th – October 1st 2009. It will be a unique event packed with inspiring and up-close encounters
with photographers, authors and artists.

1st Rafiki Light photo festival:

The town of Fort Portal, in Ugandas western part, will welcome photographers and photo buffs from near and far to the Rafiki Light festival of photography. From September to October, the 1th Rafiki Light festival will present a programme of photographic and cultural exhibitions, workshops, lectures, films and concerts. The festival artistic director will share enthusiasm for and knowledge of everything photographic. There will be “Face to face” live and onstage portrait interviews cultural and literary personalities an unmissable feature of the festival. You will meet local author, and people from nearby and far will describe life “from photography to photography”. There will be enough highlights, and there will come more.
