A long living vision; A4R is a way of working with contemporary issues. Whatever A4R may be today, it will probably be something different tomorrow. So here we simply give space to any
collaborators to contribute their own vision for A4R.
Wholeness of A4R; organize dialogs with the porpuse of co-creating the A4R vision that health, youth, trade, culture functioning together in wholeness, contribute to well-being of everyone -
this is the founding value of A4R.
Holism replace reductionism: human are beginning to understand that A4R values are a single undivided whole. And that interactive unity is the foundation of human well-being on the planet.
The theme of A4R is therefore learning to live harmoniously on earth, and failure to do so will result in our own extinetion.
A new stream in the mainstream;
a africazation culture. While globalization has
been effacing the differences between local cultures,
|
it has created the
possibility for the development of new, global cultures.
In a local african culture people are joined together by
a shared territory. In a global culture people are joined together by shared vision and values.
A vision: growing evidence of non-sustainability
of some of our current trends urge us to think the direction
our progress has taken.
What is less known but nevertheless true is that the same destructive forces which are endangering our environment are also damaging our culture and our health.
The vision that inspires the A4R is that a completely new culture has become possible, in which thorugh the cultivation of trade, health, culture and safety and our own well-being we aspire towards the heights of humanness and happiness which may now be difficult to imagine.
The mission of A4R is to facilitate the development of such global culture.
