Africa 4 Rafiki and Africa 4 Net
Africa 4 Rafiki - an organization formed with the aim of sustained HIV, crime and drugs education of atrisk children and young adults in the north and western region of Uganda – “pearl of Africa”Rafiki work and risk them self into regions with high prevalence of HIV, childsoldier and problems with poverty, unemployment and violent crime: Children, and in particular boys and women, are at increased risk for acquiring HIV as they become sexually active with little understanding of how HIV is transmitted. Rates of condom use are alarmingly low and Rafiki – Africa 4 Rafiki – will operate in concern with Fort Portal and Kasese district Orphan Care. Rafiki have a farm at Firimoni Stage, a home for the streetkids, based in western part of Uganda. We need support to operate Rafikis dialogue network and peace center from Ntendere Estate for youngster whose family been killed by army groups like ADF or LRA, or whose parents have died from AIDS. Rafiki – Africa 4 Rafiki –also provides teaching through a life skills program designed to provide basic education, self esteem building, and guidance to the orphans under their care.
Rafikis goal is to provide abnormal or risk behavior incl. drugs, crime and AIDS by giving education to young adults in the target age of 9 -25. Rafiki education are based om HIV transmission, prevention, and treatment options, as well as instruction into the damage caused by the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS, drugs and crime.
Rafiki – Africa 4 Rafiki – act with dialogue and relief matrix organization etbls year 2005. We need in respect some more reflect abroad, some more support, some more publicity so we can share our hope for Rafiki and Africa 4 Rafiki by developing our project in Kampala, Fort Portal , Kasese and Kilembe. In Kilembe we can offer paragliding from Rewenzori Mountain, or simply trekking (climbing mountaineering) or enjoy a stay on our African farm: Ntendere Estate. The goal of Rafiki matrix organization will remain the steady supply to streetskids, give them education so the can survive in local community.
Rafiki has as its objectives to promote the youth health and safety, sustainable environments, wellbeing, vitality and peace in eastafrica – we need help from friends.
